Once the novelty of the “park” runs out, the rooms décor give you the impression you are in ancient Egypt, with 80’s coloured stamps (curtains, carpet), and some would even say a refresh could revamp the place/feeling.įor me, the old-fashionable stamps/colours/cabinets give a certain charm and bring you the feeling you are inside a pyramid, and somewhere else. The elevator that goes diagonally is a different aspect, and the fact you are inside a pyramid is definitely a novelty. It is like staying in an amusement park, with lots to do, lots of tourists and lots of different thing happening everywhere you look. The burgers were properly made, the buffet had a large variety of food including desserts, the pools were heated, and there were people everywhere. The hotel amenities, sculptures, pools are amazing and the different eating restaurants inside the complex made the stay very comfortable. you are in Vegas, and you are checking in in a casino’s cashier. The casino feeling to check in, going to the “counter” gave us the feeling. The scale is not the usual hotel, and as it was our first time in Vegas, we were not expecting the queue that long. The queue for the reception/check in was quite shocking, but luckily it moved fairly fast. First time in Vegas, Luxor is one of the most famous and we had to stay there.
